Adding new flowers to your garden is sure to bring delight to the eye and sweet-smelling fragrance to your senses! Each bloom is to brighten days no matter where it's planted. Keep things fresh by mixing up what you plant each season, with pops of color from annuals and perennials, which come back year after year, plus spring-flowering bulbs, evergreens, and flowering shrubs. Having many types of blooms will give you more color to last and also create habitat and food for pollinators such as bees, hummingbirds, and butterflies.
I never thought much about shrubbery until I was older. In the 1975 movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail, King Arthur and his band are blocked by the dreaded Knight Who Says “Ni!” in an enchanted forest. “Bring me a shrubbery,” demands the giant Knight, adding, “One that looks nice... And not too expensive.”
Shrubs were always boring and just green to me. Cindi’s Playground has found some unique shrubs and rooted cutting, or will make cuttings, you can have fun with and enjoy many different kinds. Some flower, some have many pretty colors. All of them draw attention to your senses, as well as to the birds, bees, butterflies and other pollinators.
