Mexican Flame (Love) Vine has Intense orange, 2" daisy-like blooms with yellow centers are borne on a vigorous twining vine. Blooming spring to fall, and sometimes until the first frost. An easily grown perennial vine. Once established in the landscape, caring for Mexican flame vines are low maintenance. The plant is drought tolerant, but will benefit from the occasional watering during dry periods. Flame vine care includes trimming the plant back to encourage a new flush of blooms in summer. Pruning as part of flame vine care encourages blooms throughout the plant; those not pruned only flower at the top of the climbing vine. Plant seeds in a sunny area with well-drained soil. Mexican flame vines are not picky about soil and will sprout in poor soil and rocky areas. A more profuse display of blooms occurs in organic soils, but soil that is too rich may cause growing Mexican flame vines to get out of hand. The same is true with fertilization, so go easy on feeding as part of flame vine care. Did I mention, The butterflies LOVE this Vine!!You will receive two tp three rooted cuttings, The roots grow fast and hearty. Depending on how they are growing in the propagation bed. Rooted Starters may be in a pot. But it will be a small one to make sure you have good soil around the roots. Do not plant rooted starters outside until you see new growth after acclimating to your weather. Keep warm and in sunny location. They love full Florida sun but do well in partial shade, too.

Your 5 Unrooted cuttings will be wrapped in moist napkin after being dipped in rooting hormone. Plant in warm moist soil and keep moist until rooted. Should be three to four weeks.
