Red African milk tree (Euphorbia trigona ‘Rubra’).At least 5” tall - Rooted - No Pot; Un-Rooted 8-12”

Your euphorbia must get enough direct, or indirect, sun for it to maintain its reddish color. Before you bought it, it was probably grown in a greenhouse, where providing intense sunshine is easy, but in the home, it really should be placed near a sunny window at all times. This is especially true in the winter, when the sun is much, much less intense. And for an even more intense coloring, grow it outdoors in full sun during the summer months. As for watering, like most succulent euphorbias, the African milk tree is very tolerant of irregular watering. Ideally, you’d water abundantly, then allow the growing mix to dry thoroughly before watering again. The frequency of watering will vary according to the conditions and the seasons: you may need to water it weekly in hot summer weather, but only every two to three weeks under cooler, shadier winter conditions.-Grow up to 3 feet tall (Mine is now four ft)-Colors and growing rates depend on light, soil, and water conditions.-indoor and outdoor-Light water-Well-draining soil with a drainage hole pot (gritty, sand-based soil)-Great gift for succulent lovers-Water the plant when the soil is completely dryThis cactus originated from West Africa. They are one of the most hardy plants in gardening. They are drought tolerant. Make sure to provide a sunny environment so they will thrive. Also, make sure to plant them in draining soil. They require little watering but do not let them sit in wet soil. To prevent this leave drought periods between waterings or simply touch the soil with your finger (if it feels dry add a little bit of water, if it feels wet do not add water until dry).*Weather*Please be mindful that succulents can freeze. Before purchasing any of our items, we ask that you consider the following.
